Accessing your Instance from the GUI

At this point you now have created an Instance named “Test Demo” which is a Ubuntu 18.04 – XRT 2020.2 You should not see any errors. If you see an error message, Select and delete the instance. Recreate the instance. Once you have created an instance with no errors and indicates that it is running. You can access the Instance by following the steps below:

Step 1: Select and click on the instance name

  • In this case: Test Demo

 

Step 2: Navigate to the Console tab

  • Right Click on the “Click here to show only console” and select “Open in a new tab”

Step 3: Click on Connect button

Step 4: Click on Home Icon in top right corner of screen

 

Step 5: Click on “Terminal Emulator” to open a Terminal shell

 

Step 6: From inside the Terminal Emulator window: Type the command “lspci” to verify your Xilinx Configuration

Step 7: You have successfully created, accessed, and verified the resources assigned to your instance.
