Ensure a key pair is added to the instance. You can create one in the GUI or upload one.
Note: You will not be able to SSH into most instances without adding an SSH Key at launch or manually adding an SSH key in the OS. Cloud images disable password authentication over SSH and require the usage of SSH keyStepkey
